He Matai Matatupu

The reconstruction in Mäori of an observation survey of Early Literacy of Achievement in collaboration with Dame Professor Marie Clay.

He Matai Matatupu has been designed to assess early reading and writing among Maori children.

For use with children in junior classes who have been in immersion in Mäori for at least a year. This assessment provides a comprehensive look at children's reading and writing in Mäori identifying strengths and areas for further development and support.
